Membership Officers AZ DAR Website National DAR Website
We appreciate your interest in the Old Pueblo Working Women's DAR chapter. As a "Working Women's" chapter most of our members are working women. For this reason our chapter meets on the second Saturday of each month from September through May. Our meetings start at 9:30 am and continue until 11:00 am.
The Old Pueblo Chapter is named to honor Tucson, Arizona . The term “Old Pueblo” recalls the walled presidio of San Augustin del Tucson built by the Spanish settlers in 1775 as protection from the Apache. This nickname is now extended to the city itself. The Old Pueblo Chapter received its designation as a “working women’s chapter” and was organized on February 7, 2004.
